Rather late then never!! In 2018 I got accepted to my dream school, the University of Pennsylvania. 4 years later, I graduated after an amazing experience.

I graduated with a B.S. in Economics and a concentration in Entertainment and Media Management from the The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. I have grown in ways I never could have imagined academically, socially, and personally. This growth allowed me to start my own company (DC Entertainment) which strives to expose black and brown students from diverse backgrounds to the opportunities at historically white institutions like the Ivy League and beyond. Through creating informative video content, hosting college prep info sessions, and financially supporting students who demonstrate financial needs through my scholarships; my business has became my baby, my creative outlet, and my passion.

This past summer, I expanded my reach globally! My team and I travelled across 11 European countries, gaining insights and interviewing students from some of the top universities. After returning back to the US, my team and I went west and spent a week documenting West Coast Student’s perspectives from Los Angeles, California to Vancouver, Canada.

These experiences brought me inside the private dinning halls of Oxford University, running through rainy streets giggling with University of Amsterdam students, enjoying new cuisines on campus in Leuven, Belgium, filming Parisian Students in front of the Eiffel Tower all the way to stepping onto USC’s legendary track and field and taking in the beauty of Stanford University’s palm tree covered campus.

4 months ago I started a new journey. Today, I completed my fourth month of work at Accenture Song in the NYC Office. I will specifically be working on Media, Content, and Brand projects, which is super exciting! With the beginning of this new journey and the continuation of building in my passions, my goal is to make my twenties my years of foundation building.

All that I have accomplished thus far would not be possible without the help of many. I would like to thank my Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Shamarlon, Addis, Mr. Boyd, Mrs. Boyd, Nia, Bailey, Janice, Bryce, Nicholas, and many many more people who helped me throughout college and continue to lift me up in my post-grad journey.
