Learn how to simplify fractional exponents. Fractional exponents are created from roots of numbers. For example square root of 6 raised to the 6th power.
Another example is x^ 2/3 raised to the 6th power.

A more accepted term used to describe fractional exponents is a rational exponent. A rational exponent is an exponent that is expressed as a fraction, where both the numerator and denominator are integers. For example, 3√8 can be written as 8^(1/3). Rational exponents are used to represent roots and powers.
