Diversity & inclusion in a Virtual Workplace

"Up until the corporate world pivoted into a Coronavirus frenzy, Diversity and Inclusion were on the minds – and agendas – of most organizations. You couldn’t attend a Human Resources related conference or scroll through LinkedIn without seeing two or three D&I related topics. Then, in March 2020, everyone everywhere went into crisis/survival mode. Organizations had to deal with sudden losses of revenue, whilst at the same time trying to send employees home to work remotely or find safe ways to keep those on the front lines working. All HR related content shifted away from strategic initiatives to enabling remote work, health & safety and the desperate need to stay on top of daily changes in legislation impacting companies and workers alike. HR professionals were focused on remote work and remote culture.

The question we should be asking in our organizations is why D&I is still, after all this time, not linked to organizational survival in the hearts and minds of leaders. In this session we will be asking the following questions:
