The all-electric Porsche Macan 2024 is based on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) developed jointly with Audi with 800 V architecture. Latest-generation permanently excited synchronous motors (PSM) offer the peak power up to roughly 450 kW (612 HP) and the maximum torque will be more than 1,000 Nm. For the first time, the packaging with the Performance rear end also allowed for the installation of a rear-wheel steering system on the Macan. It resolves an old conflict of objectives and combines agility in urban traffic with stability and driving precision on the motorway.
