This is the 236th episode of Kingdom Hearts, "The Tentacles of Death".

In this episode, more questions about what's happened in previous episodes get answered. First, Sora and his crew get informed that Tia Dalma is really the goddess Calypso in disguise, and comes to the realization that Calypso/Tia Dalma has been assisting him during his time in this world, and he believes that she could be of help again.

But Luxord, in his quest for that mysterious box, summons a kraken to separate Jack's crew from Sora's crew, and while that kraken is ultimately taken care of, a far more devastating event occurs when Davy Jones, who's part-kraken himself, boards the Black Pearl and engages both Jack Sparrow and delivers a blow to Will Turner that, itself would become fatal before Jack Sparrow delivers a fatal blow to Jones by destroying the contents of the box he and Luxord had been seeking.
