Without a doubt, the most-anticipated 2025 MDX Hybrid from Acura is a great addition to their already-popular three-row SUV range. The 2025 MDX Hybrid isn't just going green; it also has a sportier look, a next-generation hybrid powertrain, and a promise to mix great fuel economy with thrilling performance.

The softer curves of the 2025 MDX Hybrid have been lost in favor of a more sculpted look. With cutting Jewel Eye LED headlights on either side, the signature Diamond Pentagon grille gets a modern makeover with a new mesh design. The new, aerodynamic 19-inch wheels flow smoothly into the remade front fenders, giving a hint of how sporty the car is underneath. Acura has also added subtle blue accents to the outside, which are a nod to the hybrid engine that's hidden inside. The new MDX Hybrid has a roomy interior and a tapered top that makes it look sleeker. A chrome accent along the beltline adds a touch of class, and the taillights get a major makeover by wrapping around the fenders to give the car a wider look. Acura says that these changes to the design won't affect how well the MDX Hybrid works. It will still have the great cargo room and comfortable seats that are associated with the MDX name.

Acura hasn't said much about the details, but insiders say it has a new hybrid motor that is designed to be both fuel-efficient and fun to drive. There will be a powerful electric motor paired with a 3.0-liter V6 engine. This smart system claims to get great gas mileage while keeping the MDX's reputation for being easy to drive. The Hybrid is also said to come with Acura's signature Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system, which gives you sure control in any weather. According to rumors, Acura will add a bigger and stronger battery pack than the old MDX Hybrid. This will allow for a longer range when running only on electricity and faster acceleration. A brand-new seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) should handle power transfer smoothly, allowing for smooth gear changes and top performance. Acura might add selectable drive modes that let drivers choose between maximizing electric driving, maximizing fuel economy, or unleashing a sportier driving experience.

It is predicted that the 2025 MDX Hybrid will cost a little more than the base MDX. A confirmed MSRP is still to come, but predictions from the business world put the starting price in the low to mid-$50,000 range. Pre-orders should start in late summer 2024, and shipping should start in early 2025.
