The GMC Sierra Elevation is equipped as standard with an all-new 2.7-liter turbocharged engine, combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque. It provides impressive acceleration and towing capacity of 6900lbs.

important notes: Sound of the engine is weird... yep that is not a v8! The test was done on a fully equipped GMC SIERRA ELEVATION 4wd Crew Cab ( only available to Canada ) and was loaded with 2 big guys of 230lbs and full camera gear. GMC is saying that it can do 0-60 mph of 6.8 seconds. It must be with a 2WD. Otherwise, that is not bad at all considering the weight of the truck and how fast it moves after it starts to roll!
