In this video we test the Dyson V12 Detect Slim for raw power (CFM and suction), long term suction (flour clog test), surface level pickup (on carpet and hard floors), deep cleaning, battery life, debris containment (fog test), hair tangling, and ease of use (weight, handling, control, and dust bin size).

The V12 is only recommended if you vacuum frequently and have a small space to vacuum. Otherwise, if you vacuum infrequently or have a large space to vacuum, we recommend a larger Dyson like the V8, V10, or V15.
