Astounding levels of misinformation spreading instantly the moment the major fire at Luton Airport was announced really surprised me.

On the evening of Tuesday October 10 2023, a major fire broke out at Luton Airport Terminal Car Park 2. Thousands of cars are thought to be damaged and the structural integrity of the building is being called into question.

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue confirmed that the fire started in a diesel car.

Both firefighters and airport staff are receiving treatment for smoke inhalation - I'm sure you'll join me in wishing them a speedy and full recovery.
