KFI-AM 640's Sex, Drugs, and Social Media presents an in-depth look at the issues parents are facing when it comes to the nexus between their children and the dangers of social media. Social media and apps have streamlined access to deadly drugs and opened the door to becoming victims of online harassment and sextortion.

KFI’s Steve Gregory and Fox-11’s Araksya Karapetyan welcome Special Agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations Los Angeles Field Office, Eddy Wang; Fraud & Cybercrimes Bureau Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Sergeant. Pete Hish; Retired Special Agent in Charge, DEA/LA, and Managing Director, Revelo Investigations and Consulting, Bill Bodner.

Joining the panel of guests include Matt Capelouto, a parent, activist who lost his 20-year-old daughter, Alexandra, to Fentanyl poisoning in 2019 and Sam Chapman, another parent, activist who lost his 16-year-old son, Sammy, to a counterfeit pill he bought from the social media platform Snapchat in 2021; they both share their experiences with the drug crisis sweeping the youth in America.

Also, Chief Parent Officer, Titania Jordan from Bark.US and the Founder of Cyber Safety Cop, Clayton Cranford join in the conversation and provide their expertise to parents who are seeking ways to manage their children’s texts, social media, search access and the different safety programs available.
