I was given this snow blower. The previous owner told me the engine was blown. It turned out that old gas was left in the carburetor, the float became stuck open, and then the crankcase filled with gas. It would run but oil and gas were coming out of the exhaust. I replaced the carburetor with a generic brand... it ran, but it didn't run right at full throttle. Since there were no adjustments on the carburetor, I determined I needed to swap it again for something else.

HIPA was kind enough to send a carburetor for this repair. I have been using HIPA replacement carburetors since 2020 on the many repairs I do, and they have worked great.
