Today's video is the top five questions I get asked in regards to my sewing machine.

1. What's the largest thread/needle combo I have successfully used while sewing with my machine? (T135- 20/125)

2. Is there a material guide on my sewing machine? (No, but I show how easy it is to make your own and how to make nice straight and even stitching.)

3. How to adjust the presser foot pressure and how to adjust the stitch length? (There are two screws under the frame near the sewing head. One controls the presser foot pressure and the other one slightly to the rear controls the stitch length.)

4. How to adjust the tension on the bobbin? (There a few ways to make adjustments to the spring tension on the bobbin shuttle. The first way is to adjust where the spring comes in contact with the thread on the bobbin shuttle. Using a small screwdriver move the spring up to the top of the channel and give a test pull. If the thread pulls right out, move the spring to the lower end and give it another try. If that does not fix it, move on to step two which requires a crisscrossing of the thread. Thread your thread through the furthest hole on the bobbin shuttle, go under the spring and then through the hole closest to the mounting screw. If that doesn’t help then remove the spring and make a slight downward bend to the spring. This will give a bit more tension on the
thread. If you bend it too much the tension will be really tight on the holes furthest away from the mounting screw and no tension at all on the opposite set.)

5. Could you give me more information on the motor you use to power your sewing machine? ( The name is "Quality Sewing Machine Motor" and it came from an old Singer sewing machine. The motor is 115 Volts, ACDC, 105 watts and the model number is 174667 E-RP.)
