The Porsche Panamera has been around for a couple generations now and the Turbo S E-Hybrid is the fastest and most powerful one Porsche has ever made. It has a twin turbocharged V8 and a electric battery that when combined generate close to 700 horsepower! And given that its a big, 4 door, executive sedan, it still feels sporty and nimble.

However, in recent years the sedan has been losing popularity as the SUV has basically become the go to option for everyone. Prior to reviewing this Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid i was wondering, what's the purpose of this car? Why do we need a 700 horsepower 4 door sedan. Well, after some though, i came up with two things. First, options are good. Second, high profile cars with all the technology and sophisticated mechanics are needed to hold the halo effect. For example, i'd imagine that the hybrid technology in this Panamera is going to be used in the refreshed 911.

Beyond that, i went into this review with no expectations and was really surprised with how fast and good the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid was. Its quite amazing how good the Panamera is at a lot of things, and it does them every well!
