Xanadu is a musical about a struggling artist by the name of Sonny Malone, played by Michael Beck. He hates his job of painting mediocre album covers. When he meets Kira, played by Olivia Newton-John, he is immediately drawn in by her beauty and strange energy. When he visits the auditorium looking to find her again, he discovers that she is actually a timeless Greek muse. She then encourages him to build a roller-skating disco with his old buddy Danny McGuire.

Xanadu is often-times lumped into the 'Worst Films of all Times" lists and is in fact one of the reasons why the Golden Raspberry Awards exists. Rotten Tomatoes agrees that it's a pretty awful film. It currently holds a $28 percent.
