WHAT EVERYONE'S GETTING WRONG ! ROOF PLATFORM LOAD LIMITS ON AND OFF-ROAD. Static vs Dynamic loads.

Loading carrying on your vehicles roof is a great way to increase your capacity however there a limits for everything.

Identifying your vehicles roof capacity is the first thing you should do, then look to the manufactured rack you wish to fit to the vehicle.
Also identify the rack manufacturers specs on both static and dynamic load.

If you plan on any off-road use the dynamic load limit or “ off road limit “ is what you need to look for and make your weight calculations from that. You might be surprised just how little you can carry with these racks while off-roading.
