Resin 3D printers are finally available at price points that make them accessible to hobbyists and makers everywhere! But how does resin 3D printing work and how does it compare to FDM printing? In this video, we take a look at the two main resin printing methods available in consumer-level machines today: stereolithography (SLA) and masked stereolithography (MSLA).

We also take a look at ELEGOO, Inc.'s newest 3D printer, the ELEGOO Mars, and learn how to slice and print custom models using the included ChiTuBox software! Overall, we find that the ELEGOO Mars is capable of creating high quality prints at an awesome price point -- the unit is available now, with a limited-time price of only $250!
