This was the BMW 5-Series Commercials that aired exclusively in US. For US model that launched in October 2003 for 2004 model. The 5-Series Sedan coming with E60 model code. The platform shared with 6-Series in Coupe and Convertible (E63 and E64 respectively). And later, BMW introduced the 5-Series Touring (as Sports Wagon for US model coming with E61 model code) for 2005 model year.
For US model, The BMW 5-Series has 3 engines for 2004 model year. There were 525i (2.5L 6-cylinder m/t only), 530i (3.0L 6-cylinder m/t only), and 545i (4.4L V8 m/t or a/t. The a/t no longer available for 2005). For 2006 model year, the 550i (4.8L V8 m/t only) also available with 362 horses and replaced 545i. The 525i has replaced by 3.0L 6-cylinder N53 engine.
There's a facelift for 2008 model year with revised front bumper, headlights, taillights, and interior. The 525i has renamed as 528i only in US and replaced by 3.0L 6-cylinder N52 engine. And 530i also renamed as 535i and replaced by 3.0L 6-cylinder N54 turbocharged engine.
