Santa Monica Pier is a popular tourist attraction found in the beachfront city of Santa Monica in western Los Angeles County, California. The Pier offers Pacific Park, a full-service amusement park, combined with plenty of restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops, as well as an entertaining arcade with more than 200 games. Pacific Park’s solar-powered Ferris wheel is a state-of-the-art technology and one-of-a-kind in the region.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the usual tourist-packed pier is now almost empty and quite. The entrance to the Santa Monica Pier (from the Arch) has been closed and was moved to Ocean Front walk. They've limit the number of people inside the pier. All rides in Pacific park were closed. The buskers and performers were gone. Such an usual sight.
