Magnetic fields are everywhere around us. Making these visible and measuring them accurately is often a technical challenge. The application of measuring smallest magnetic fields ranges from medical technology to industry and the military. In today's video we take a look at different possibilities of magnetic field measurement, with a focus on the measurement of very small magnetic fields with FOERSTER probes (fluxgate magnetometers).

My name is Manfred Schmitz and I have been working in the field of non-destructive testing since 2014. NDT is an extremely exciting field for me because of the wide range of applications. The scope from "testing" people by CT (computed tomography) or medical ultrasound to materials testing with eddy current is incredible.
