US automakers are quickly abandoning sedans, hatchbacks, and wagons in their domestic markets, but Chevrolet is keeping the Malibu on for another year after axing almost all their sedans in the United States and Canada. This full tour and review of the 2021 Chevrolet Malibu LT goes over everything potential buyers want to know about this mid-size sedan and what's been added for this model year.

New for 2021 includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a feature buyers of this LT will appreciate as embedded navigation is reserved for the Premier trim. A new Sport Edition is available for LT trims, and a new paint colour across the Malibu. Finally GM has added Buckle to Drive to their Teen Driver system, allowing parents to require the driver's seat belt to be buckled in before the car can be driven/shifted out of park.

Our full tour and review talks about the features found on the 2021 Chevy Malibu LT including halogen headlights, rear parking sensors, keyless entry, remote start, the updated front end grille and facia, rear LED tail lamps, and large trunk space. We discuss how the 4-door keyless entry buttons have been reduced to only the front doors, and the colour driver info computer on LT and lower trims is now monochromatic.

We take the 2021 Chevy Malibu LT on a comprehensive real-world road test where we discuss the fuel economy for this sedan, and what our driving experiences were like with the 1.5L in-line 4 engine and CVT. We don't do any winter testing with this vehicle as it's equipped with all-season tires.
