This is a detailed video showing how to remove the bearings from a Vitamix. You may be lucky and get both bearings out in one go, but if not, this video shows you a method of removing the stuck inner bearing. At the end of the video you can see where on eBay to buy these bearings cheaply.

Please note that there should be a rubber seal above the top bearing which is not shown in this video. If your seal is missing, you will need to buy one on ebay. Here is s link to a picture:
