One of my favorite 3D printed chess pieces on Thingiverse.com. This is the Pharoh or king in this set of 3D Printing Models by Runsys(See link the end end of the description) I 3D printed this with gold 3d Printer filament at .2 mm per layer. My webcam for the time lapse was a generic 1080 webcam from Amazon, but I have since moved to the Logitech C920 for all my most recent 3D Time Lapses.

How Are My 3D Prints Made?
All of my 3D Time Lapses are printed on a Creality Ender 3 Printer with a Raspberry Pi B handling the time lapse coordination. 3D printing requires a large amount of patience with many models running taking 12+ hour to complete and several printing for well over a day. Each layer is between .1 and .2 mm thick. Think the thickness of a sheet of printer paper!
