President of DC Films, Walter Hamada, gave an interview to the New York Times, detailing plans for upcoming DC movies. The NYT article explains the concept of the DC multiverse, which will include multiple Batmen, including Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton’s versions. Some fans then got the idea that Keaton was going to be the DCEU’s primary Batman moving forward, and it was a mess.
