The roadmap out of lockdown will be "cautious but irreversible", Boris Johnson has said, as he stressed the need for coronavirus rates to come "really, really low" first. Former Prime Minister, Tony Blair says “There’s no prospect of a return to anything like normal without enabling people to show their Covid status". He says vaccine passports will give people confidence to return to workplaces, use public transport and to be part of crowds. Dominic Raab said on LBC they’ve not been ruled out - but later No 10 said they’re not something we’re considering - but now it seems they are. But is it just like ID cards and does it go against the British tradition of not having to carry papers?
