So, you'll learn how to tone any oil painting background or oil painting base layer.

This art lesson explains, in detail, all of the materials you need to tone a canvas, oil painting background or oil painting base layer. It also teaches the difference between a transparent tone (called an imprimatura) and an opaque toned ground. And, tells you the number one mistake I see students make.
