Hey Everyone,

Welcome back to my channel, Matthew Varga here. In today's video I am going to go over 6 Mistakes that most beginners make when first starting out with investing. I was definitely guilty of making most of these mistakes and over time have realized the mistakes I was making and I am hoping that this video will help you avoid making the same mistakes that I made and save you a ton of money and headache.

Most of my past videos have been focused on Real Estate, but going forward I am going to start adding more videos about Personal Finance, investing in stocks and planning for retirement.

Most people might not know but I studied Personal Finance in school and was a certified financial Planner. I used this knowledge to help me retire in my 30’s and hopefully can help some of you do the same.

I feel this is the biggest gap that we have in our Education system, which is designed to turn people into good employees, but it doesn’t provide us with the tools on how to manage money, have money work for us and how to retire early and not be dependant on the government or companies to provide for us in our retirement.

So let's jump into the 6 mistakes that beginners make:


1) Investing before you're ready
2)Paying too much in fees
3)Timing the market
4)Not investing at all
5)Not considering tax implications
6)Letting others influence your investing decisions- Taking Bad Advice
