In today's video, I walkthrough how to easily change your PlayStation Network Online ID straight from the PS4 console. This method is super quick and is absolutely free, so there's no need to add to your wallet funds in the PlayStation Store.

After having the same Online ID for a long time, or accidentally choosing a name that can seem stale in comparison to your gaming friends, it's refreshing that Sony allows us to change our PSN Online ID for free, but this wasn't always the case in recent past. Previously, gaming networks required either creating another account in order to get a new ID name, or pay a significant free to make the change.
