I have been having weird drivability issues and decided to investigate the fuel filter. it was original from 2002 and needed to be replaced. I noticed a strange noise when the fuel pump would prime...like it was straining. I found the vacuum line connection to be rotted open at the filter and that might explain the obd codes...as it would be presenting higher fuel pressure as if the car were under load. I plan to cut open the filter soon to see how it looks after 22 years
