Run #avatarthelastairbender #avatar #atla In the Last Airbender comics after Team Avatar adds Azula to their group and heads to the long forgotten village of Hira to look for Zuko’s mom, Zuko tells them he wants to arrive before sunset and not at nighttime like a bunch of bandits, however when Aang starts to make a REALLY Angry face, he says he feels something off in the Spirit World, and looks off the side of Appa where he spits a massive spirit wolf running on the ground, and this distraction allows Azula to stand on the side of the Air Bison telling Zuko she’ll give their mother his regards when she finds her, and jumping off the side causing Aang to dive after her with his glider. It’s at this point where Azula actually burns a hole in the glider and uses her lightning to send Aang crashing down towards the ground, while she darts across the landscape and eventually escapes the group. As Azula jumps over a running river, she hears her mother’s voice as it tells her that she’s only hurting herself, as Azula screams at the surface of the water where she sees her mother’s reflection, and tells her that she found a letter that PROVES her mother has been conspiring against her and basically led to all the worst parts of her life because Azula had power unlike her mother did, but as this conversation continues, it’s easy to see that Azula is definitely still INSANE.
