This is not a sponsored video and I purchased this Macbook Pro with my own money. This is the space grey 16 inch M2 Max Macbook Pro base model with 12 core CPU, 38 core GPU, 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage.

My journey with Apple computers has been a rough and exciting one. The first time I got a chance to lay my hands on a Macbook Pro was back in 2013 for a very brief 4 months for development work. It was a 2011 15 inch model. From there I have had the opportunity to work with various Macs including couple of iMacs till 2019 related to software development and coding. The journey of photo and video editing began in 2021 when I moved to Mexico from India on a work assignment. I got into exploring the new country and so came the need to have a perfect machine with incredible reliability and performance and also color accurate displays. I have always been a fan of the Apple retina display. My photography journey began with a very roughly used 13 inch 2016 Macbook Pro with Intel i5 dual core CPU, integrated GPU, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Then it was traded for a 2017 iMac with Intel i5 quad core CPU, 8GB RAM, Radeon 2GB GPU and 512GB storage. Next came a 2018 15 inch Macbook Pro with Intel i7 6 core CPU, Radeon 4GB GPU, 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD. After this the once popular and most powerful Intel Macbook Pro 2019 16 inch Intel i9 8 core CPU, integrated GPU, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. Everything has been great but the urge for better battery endurance, better cooling efficiency, port availability never left the back of my head. I sort of got used to these problems until Apple Silicon was declared. Boy Apple did cook up something crazy in their labs.

The choice was obvious and I soon moved to the 16inch M1 Pro Macbook Pro base model with 1TB storage without the slightest hesitation after watching a million reviews on Youtube and I wasnt disappointed. The new 120Hz Mini LED retina display with ProMotion, new 6 speaker system with Spatial Audio, the true 21 hour battery life, crazy quick render times, almost zero thermal throttling, no heating issues was unbelievable for the first few months. But then the over enthusiastic geniuses at Apple had to beat their own limits and here I am finally owning the most powerful Macbook Pro at present.
