Learn about the Colorado Dept. of Transportation (CDOT) & the Colorado Dept. of Public Safety (CDPS) idea and innovation programs, and how they are able to leverage their entire workforce in improvements, not just improvement experts.

Brion Hurley from Business Performance Improvement facilitates this live discussion where you will hear from CDOT's Gary Vansuch & CDPS's Corey Niemeyer about their agency's idea programs. The event was hosted by the Colorado Lean Network.

CDOT's Lean Everyday Idea program is well established and has won multiple awards. CDPS's IDEA (Innovation Driven by Employee Action) program is fairly new and less established than CDOT's program, but was built from best practices at CDOT.

* Learn from mistakes and struggles that came up in the programs
* Learn how participation in the programs is kept alive
