He is also the narrator of Epcot's Spaceship Earth attraction from 1986 to 1994

At the time of this TV show, Cronkite was CBS's "big event" guy. He anchored live coverage of the big events - conventions, elections, inaugurations, etc. He also had 2 weekly prime time news shows on CBS (Eyewitness To History and the Twentieth Century). But Edwards was the anchor of the Evening News. It was only 15 minutes and not considered the "flagship" of CBS News at the time. Cronkite didn't anchor the Evening News until 1962.
