It was cheap and easy to make my existing garden lights smart using a TP-Link smart plug.

Making your home smart can get complicated with so many different systems to deal with. I didn't want to add another app / service to my lighting set up. I already have multiple devices with the TP-Link Kasa App and wanted to stick with this service as it's been very reliable for me.

As you'll see, this was a very easy modification!
