Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has taken to the lectern at the Downing Street briefing to update the UK on the latest coronavirus news.

He was joined by Dr Jenny Harries, chief executive of the UK Health Security Agency, and Paul Lincoln, director-general of Border Force.

Twelve countries and territories including Portugal, Israel and Gibraltar are on a "green list" of destinations.
