With 860kg of downforce and very trick adjustable suspension, the latest Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) is one of the most sophisticated cars on the road. But what does all that downforce actually feel like and how do you tune the adjustable dampers?

The Intercooler's Dan Prosser spent a day at the @TopGear test track learning all about the new GT3 RS. In this video he describes the sensation of that downforce pressing the car into the road, as well as explaining what compression and rebound damping are – crucial knowledge if you're going to make best use of the car's configurable suspension.

This new 911 GT3 RS is the most powerful version yet with 518bhp. But it isn't power that makes this latest Porsche supercar so special, but its extraordinary aerodynamics and the unprecedented level of configurability the car offers its driver. Dan explains all that in detail here.
