We often hear about the effects of substance abuse on the individual, but what about the impact it has on those around the individual. A Junior at Chaminade-Julienne, Brennan shares his personal story about that ripple effect.
Brennan Harlow is a junior at Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School. He is on the varsity swim team and plays tennis. Brennan is also heavily involved in performing arts at school. He loves singing in his a cappella group, Phoenix, and does improvisational acting. After high school, he hopes to become an electrical engineer and has dreams of working for Apple. Brennan is driven by his love for his family and community, and he hopes that by sharing his story he can make an impact in the greater Dayton area. Brennan’s talk is adapted from his popular TEDxYouth@ Dayton performance, given earlier this year. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
