My friend has an original 1964 Super Reverb AB763, and he let me have free reign with it. I couldn't believe my luck! I spent hours playing around with all the different settings, and I was blown away by the sound. This amp is truly a classic, and it's clear why it's so popular among guitarists. If you're a fan of vintage amps, or if you're just curious about what all the fuss is about, then you need to watch this video. Not only that, but I tastefully modded this original 1964 Fender Super Reverb with a Vox-style power amp tone control, master volume, tremolo disconnect switch, new plate load resistors, recap, and proper grounding. Some SRV-style mods too!
