Synopsis . (00:04) A horse-drawn cart drives along a quiet country road. (00:25) As soon as the vehicle is out of our field of vision, we see a car coming from the background at full speed. The driver (Cecil Hepworth) loses control and ends up running over the cameraman (00:42).

Hepworth's next film,    • Explosion of a Motor Car (1900) Cecil...   , also has as its subject a catastrophe caused by a car, while the same black humour can be found in the comedy A Fatal Sneeze directed by Lewin Fitzhamon, but produced by Hepworth.
