Varifocals and small glasses frames

Here's a quick video for anyone looking for a new frame for their Varifocals, gone are the days of having to pick a super big, oversized frame to fit and accommodate a Varifocal.

Often going for an oversized frame can actually do more harm than good in some situations, you can increase how much distortion is picked up in your peripheral vision as well as increasing the weight and thickness of your lenses, especially with higher plus and minus prescriptions.

Different frames will suit and fit different people, when you are looking for frames try not to always go down the route of a huge frame because you think that's what you need.

Technology allows us to create fantastic Varifocals in shallower frames, there are obviously limitations and best practices, but you're not as restricted as you may think!
