The 1633 trail of Galileo Galilei before the Roman Inquisition is one of the most famous chapters in the struggle between authority and the freedom of expression. Based on the actual trial depositions from the Vatican Archives, "Galileo's Trial" will examine the issues that led Galileo to be tried for heresy.
