“I come from a Christian tradition. I’ve done little things that are different than that of what my mother did, but it’s still foundational to who I am... I try to live with intent... that is the essence of my pain. That’s why I do the work that I do,” Davida says of her role in the fight to end racism.

As the racial justice movement has gained momentum in recent months, our team here at Center for Interfaith Relations set out to document this pivotal moment through the lens of faith. We talked with community members about what has inspired them to rise up and how faith has shaped their role in the current movement.

The result is a video series chronicling their voices. Please enjoy our first episode.
