In this video I explain how to remove and replace the serpentine belt tensioner and belt on my Mk6 (2010-2014) Volkswagen Golf GTI with a 2.0 TSI engine which is installed in the following vehicles: Tiguan, CC, Jetta GLI, and Beetle.
Reasons for replacement:
-Squeaking under acceleration
-Frozen/melted bearings in tensioner pulley
-Noticeable slack in belt
-Throttle response seems slow or "clunky".
Part Numbers:
Serpentine Belt - 06J 260 849 D
Tensioner - 06J 903 133 D
