The Audi Q3 is all-new and the best value for your luxury SUV dollar. Just like the last Q3, this new model shares components with the VW Tiguan but with one major difference. This new 2021 Audi Q3 shares the same MQB platform used on the short wheelbase Tigaun sold in Europe but not here in North America. In addition, Audi uses the 228hp 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine used by Vw in the GTI. The up side to this engine is that it runs on regular gas unlike the competition. This Q3 is sold with three basic packages and can be equipped with the Black Optics Package for a black grille and window treatment. The inside is equipped with a standard 8.8-inch display audio system or what Audi calls MMI Touch. There is a larger 10.1-inch display audio system and also a 12.3-inch digital cockpit. Even the base Q3 premium SUV comes with a digital dashboard but it is slightly smaller. The new Q3 luxury SUV is larger than the last model with plenty of room in the back seat and a useful cargo area but the biggest improvement is the more powerful engine, 8-speed automatic transmission, standard AWD and good handling. For this that wish we could get the short wheelbase Tiguan here in North America, this is basically it and it comes with more power and more standard features.
