Unboxing the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2, plus a full review of the gaming performance, battery life, gamer features and other bits. I've been testing this Lenovo smartphone with some serious Genshin Impact and here's how the Legion Duel 2 stacks up against rivals like the ROG 5 and Red Magic 6.

Check out my reviews of the best gaming blowers of 2021 here on Tech Spurt!

The specs of this smartphone are premium, as you'd expect from a £799 handset. You get a full-view notchless AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh, plus a Snapdragon 888 chipset for smooth gaming experiences. There's no headphone jack but you do get front-facing stereo speakers. Plus the selfie camera pops up from the side of the phone, hence that notchless display.

Genshin on overclocked settings wasn't as stumble-free as on ROG 5, but the Rampage mode helps to sort things out a bit and keep the frame rate closer to 60FPS. You also have physical triggers which work a treat, and loads of other gaming features.

My benchmarking was done using GameBench:
