NATURIUM Azelaic Acid Emulsion 10% was inspired by the four years of my life I essentially spent pregnant and breastfeeding. It’s truly the product I wish I had during those years when I couldn’t use salicylic acid, retinoids, and some of my favorite hyperpigmentation treatments. It’s great for all skin types, and can either be the one treatment product you use in your routine or you can layer it with other actives, even with retinoids.

Here’s a breakdown of the main ingredients:

🔹 10% Pure Azelaic Acid: The highest amount of azelaic acid you can get over-the-counter. It helps calm visible redness, minimizes the look of uneven tone and texture, and decongests pores. This ingredient is notorious for being hard to formulate with, so you tend to find it in products that feel thick, pasty, and sometimes grainy. We worked really hard to make this formula feel lightweight, smooth and moisturizing.

🔹 Bio-retinol: This is considered a plant-based retinol alternative, and while I don’t believe it can truly replace retinoids, it can help minimize signs of aging without the side effects like irritation and dryness. Plus, it can be layered with other skincare actives and even boost their efficacy.

🔹 Niacinamide: One of my favorite skincare ingredients, it helps brighten, soothe, and strengthen the skin barrier.

🔹 Sugarcane-derived Squalane: Again, one of my favorite skincare ingredients to hydrate and nourish the skin.

🔹 Acetyl Rheum Rhaponticum Root Extract and Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract: Both ingredients are great for further brightening the skin and evening discoloration
