This bump head is a dream compared to the one on my old Cub Cadet weed eater. There are a few key things that shouldn't be over looked. Don't put the air filter side of the engine facing the ground. Take care if touching the gear box if you've recently been using the trimmer and of course winding the trimmer line in the correct direction on the spool is important too.
