As a foreigner traveling through Sri Lanka I explore the southern coast beach paradise in the small town of Weligama close to Mirissa. There we explore the beach and talk to the locals experiencing the local culture and history while trying fresh Sri Lankan food at a sea side restaurant where the fish is freshly caught off the coast by the Weligaman fishermen.
