He explains how the U.S. economy faces two crises: a health crisis from the coronavirus pandemic and a longer-term recession as millions of Americans have lost their jobs. Spriggs says the Federal Reserve needed to take aggressive action to help the economy and adds Congress should institute policies like a minimum wage to boost the working class.
