Created by Chris Claremont and Josh Bryne, Sabretooth is a mutant supervillain who first appeared in the 1977 comic Iron Fist #14. Originally, this character was meant to be limited to Iron Fist but later was used in the X-Men comics. Sabretooth is by far one of the most brutal villains in the Marvel universe and the arch-nemesis of Wolverine, despite originally being introduced as a minor villain in the X-Men comics. In fact, in the year 2009, Sabretooth was ranked as the 44th Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time by IGN, and that tells something about him.
