A 2 year break from competition during the pandemic saw Edward Corbin returning to action for the Barbados Rally Club's 2022 Championship season. And for second time in his local rallying career, Edward Corbin was declared the winner of the BRC's Drivers Championship in his Daihatsu Charmant. Finishing the season with a total of 141 points, he was 10 points ahead of Ryan Wood who finished in 2nd place.

Along with winning the Drivers Championship, Corbin also claimed his 7th Modified 1 class championship win.
